Stacey + Graeme Married

What happens when a Calgary Girl falls in love with a Australian Gent? Well, they decide they can’t live without each other, get engaged at a vineyard in New Zealand and of course their love story is one for the story books. Stacey and Graeme, meet a mutual friends wedding in Australia. I remember watching Stacey travel for the wedding via her instagram account and I was secretly praying she would meet her love of her life. You see, she has no idea of this and I had actually almost forgotten about this little fact until I met Graeme myself for the first time when they came for visit in Calgary.

Unlike a lot of my couples, I’ve known Stacey for a while now. She was community client. Then she became a person who I just really liked and got along with and eventually even was my model for my boudoir company. Now she is my friend. I’ve known her for several years and have been cheering her on all the while. She has that spark you see in a person who is gonna do great things. She lights up a room and I’m sure that is what Graeme saw at their first meeting.

Now, Graeme, he is something else. He has the heart of gold that actually matches the glow of his beard. I met him after the two of them dated a bit and he came with Stacey back to Calgary for a visit, as mentioned above. The very instant I met him, I felt this overwhelming peace about him. You could feel that he loved, loved, loved Stacey. That girl wasn’t going far without him cheering her on. He was smitten!

Fast forward to getting a call to make the trip to New Zealand from Calgary and me jumping up and down with YES!!! Here is their busy, bu,t oh, so fun wedding day, pup and all. I am still so honoured to have been able to fly 27 hours to be a part of their day. Thank you both for having me and thank you for showing me how I need to see New Zealand again, and again now.
