Rocky Mountain Wedding Proposal
Rocky Mountain Wedding Photography - Mountain Top Wedding Proposal
Couples travel to our beautiful rocky mountains often and more and more they are sending inquiries to have their special moments captured by a local photographer. So what should you be looking for when planning to have portraits taken while traveling in the rocky mountains? Well, here are a few pointers :
Make sure your photographer is licensed to capture professional images because there is nothing like being stopped in the middle of your session by a park ranger.
Make sure you like that photographers creative style and you have open communications with them before your session. No one likes to be ghosted and no one wants to receive photos that they don’t love.
Make sure what you wear for your session will look good amongst the beautiful views. Avoid consumer labels and graphic tees. Dress to impress but also if you are going to be hiking to your photo spot, maybe bring a backpack with a change of shoes and a hair brush.
Alott for enough time to get to your agreed meeting point and parking. More time is better than running late because so many of our session are based on the mountain lighting, i.e. sunsets or sunrises.
Park fees. If you are wanting a specific location, you may need to reserve a shuttle and there are only so many per day available for purchase. You will also need to cover the photographer and, or videographers transportation fee as well. (This is specifically true for Moraine Lake & the Lake Louise area)
Now, that I have your attention, here is one of my favourite wedding proposals at one of my favourite locations. Enjoy and congratulations again, G + P! May your life be filled with so much love and amazing memories made together.
