Hello There Darling Dana

Life seems like it is slow motion as a child. Then you become an adult, and BAM you realize life starts to speed up faster than you would like. It feels like you can blink and you are already 30 and then 40 years old. I know we have all been there in our lives. We wake up and realize that we are standing in front of the mirror and look at yourselves. You see someone looking back at you but wonder, how did I get here? How did all those years go by?

Not to diminish all stories, all the chapters we live and all the stories we experience but if it hasn’t happened to you yet, it will soon. You will look at your life and wonder wow, that went faster than I thought it would. It will leave you with wondering how much time do you have left, did you do all the best you could and if there are things you must do, you have some fire now, to get shit done that matters.

Now imagine if you see yourself in the mirror and you don’t love where you are. You have to accept the choices that lead to you to now and you will have to make some serious decisions. Dana did this. She looked in the mirror and realized she wanted to get back in touch of who she remembered she was before kids, marriage and adulting hard. She wanted to feel alive and in love with who she knows she can be. So, she started to work out. She met folks that cheered her on, she took back what she saw in the mirror and made very hard choices. She fell in love with running and training to the point she became alive again. This is not to say she didn’t stop ever loving her family and especially her kids but she needed her own thing. Her own outlet and something that allowed her too mentally get back in touch with herself. This shoot is to celebrate this journey she is on, all the hard work she has put in and what she wants for her future, a more balanced set loved life. Here is to you Darling Dana!
